We were approached by Sarah, the groom's mother to produce a locally sourced menu using organic ingredients for an idyllic Suffolk wedding.

Siobhans wedding

Siobhan and Tim’s wedding

Tim’s mother, Sarah, first contacted us in February. She explained Siobhan and Tim’s vision for their big day, which was ensuring the produce was all local and organic. Having put together and forwarded a few sample menus, we spent much time on the telephone gathering ideas before settling on a tasting menu.

Siobhan, Tim, Sarah & George came for a free tasting on 1st April, when we discussed all the breakdown options and costings.

Siobhan and Tim decided to have the meat supplied by a friend. I called in at Haughley Park Barn to visit Janice before the big day (Wedding Venue Co-ordinator). This was extremely helpful to remind myself of the layout and facilities available, including the use of their kitchen. Haughley Park Barn also has an on-site bar, and we were therefore not required for drinks service or glassware. At this point we were able to provide a tailor-made quote to suit their requirements.

Our relationship grew over the following months and we spent a morning together tasting the non-alcoholic options of welcome drinks whilst finalising details. The week before the wedding we popped by to collect the table plan, place names, menus and drinks for chilling.

The set-up was completed the morning of the wedding but this is fairly unique to the venue as we would usually hope to set-up at least one day prior to the ‘Big Day’.

Thank you very much once again for such a wonderful day and making sure it all went smoothly - we couldn't have done it without you! The food was absolutely lovely, and we have just had some leftovers for tea.
